Slovenian grading system
In Slovenia, university grades run from 10 (best) to 1, and 6 is the lowest pass. School grades: 1 to 5, lowest pass 2.

Slovenian grades and a US GPA
This page gives no US equivalents for Slovenian grades: we found no table for them on Wikipedia or from an official source, and we do not make one up. A US university reads a foreign transcript itself or through the credential evaluation service it names, and its conversion is the one that counts.

What to know about grades in Slovenia
- At university, 10 means exceptional results with no or negligible faults, while 6 means knowledge that only meets the minimum criteria.
- Every university grade from 1 to 5 is a fail, so a transcript's lowest passing grade is 6.
- School teachers often add plus and minus signs or half grades such as 4/5, but these are unofficial and do not appear on final reports.
