In Georgia, university grades run from A (91–100 points, best) to F (40 or fewer), and E (51–60 points) is the lowest pass.

Georgian grades and a US GPA
This page gives no US equivalents for Georgian grades: we found no table for them on Wikipedia or from an official source, and we do not make one up. A US university reads a foreign transcript itself or through the credential evaluation service it names, and its conversion is the one that counts.
Send your grades as they are, with the scale above. When a form asks for your average, give it on your own scale and say which scale it is: the converter’s average does exactly that, weighted by credits when you enter them.
What to know about grades in Georgia
- The scale comes from the Ministry of Education and Science's rules for credits, which every licensed Georgian higher education institution had to adopt.
- FX is a fail that lets the student sit an additional exam after more independent work, while F means the course has to be studied again.
- A student who fails the final exam fails the course, whatever the marks in the other components.
- A course grade has to combine independent work, a midterm assessment and the final exam, and cannot rest on the final exam alone.
- A full academic year is 60 credits, and one credit stands for 25 to 30 hours of student work.
